DELIVERY:
If shipping instructions are not indicated on your order form, Glad Tidings
will ship UPS Ground Service. Be sure to indicate UPS service needed on
order form.
ACCOMMODATION RUSH:
Will ship 4 working days after day of receipt (NOT GUARANTEED).
No extra charge for accommodation requests. Orders must be received before 2
pm (Central time) to count as day
of receipt. Accommodation requests will be processed as quickly as possible,
but delivery dates are not guaranteed. If timing is critical, please
consider one of the following guaranteed rush services:
GUARANTEED RUSH: Orders must be received before
2 pm (Central time) to count as day of receipt.
• 3-Day Rush Guaranteed to ship 3 working days after official day of
receipt.
• 2-Day Rush Guaranteed to ship 2 working days after official day of
receipt.
• 1-Day Rush Guaranteed to ship 1 working day after official day of
receipt.
If you request a RUSH service, you must specify “Guaranteed Rush” or
“Accommodation Rush” on the order.
VELLUM:
All vellum orders require one extra day. See price list for additional
charges. If Glad Tidings is to assemble these orders, more time is required
accordingly.
COPY CHANGES:
Additional lines accepted at no charge up to total of ten lines. Each line
over ten “printed on invitation” will be charged extra per line. Right and
left comer lines count as separate lines. Copy can be printed on both sides
of folded cards.ENHANCIBLE
DIE-CUTS : The order form for
personalization of die-cut designs requires two pages of information.
Directions must be given as to backer card style number, Enhancible design
style number as well as specification of vertical or horizontal orientation
of copy on the backer card and preferred placement of the die-cut. A proof
is required on these orders.
LAYOUT
CHANGES ON FOLDED INVITATIONS: Front
cover designs on folded cards are pre-printed. That which has already been
printed on the cover cannot be deleted (unless die-cut). However, copy can
be overprinted on many cover designs. Inside copy area is blank until
printed to your specifications. Art elements shown on samples are optional.
Be specific if you delete art or change from sample shown.
LAYOUT CHANGES ON FLAT CARD
INVITATIONS: Art elements and color
designs have been pre-printed. Neither color nor design can be changed on
those elements already pre-printed.
TYPE:
The type shown on the sample will be used unless otherwise indicated. Type
size can be modified depending on space limitations. (You must indicate if
you want larger or smaller type than shown on sample). A different type
style from that shown on the sample can be substituted as long as the style
is selected from another Glad Tidings sample or from
sample type face list. To change
type style, write Item Number with desired type style in the box shown on
the order form. Glad Tidings will not be responsible
if customer is displeased with an invitation when the type style has been
changed from the sample shown. Each invitation layout is designed to a
particular type style. When the type is changed, the look of the
presentation may change. (A proof is suggested when changing type style.)
LATE COPY CHANGES:
If changes are requested after type has been ordered (but before invitations
are printed) there could be an extra charge.
CUSTOM DESIGNS:
Special designs can be created on a custom basis for orders of 500 or more.
Call for estimate. Client’s illustration, logo or calligraphy accepted at no
extra cost if camera-ready art.
QUANTITY DISCOUNTS:
Available for large quantity orders that we print. 500 - 900 ... 5%
discount; 1000 -1999... 10% discount; 2000 or more... 15% discount. (Dealer
must ask for discount).
DISCOUNTS apply to stock only. Out of pocket costs not
included.
MULTI-COLOR INK - PRINTING:
Includes covers of folded cards, back sides of invitations, 2 sided response
or insert cards, multiple colors of ink is an additional charge.
QUANTITY/QUALITY VERIFICATION:
Glad Tidings checks all orders for quantity and quality before they leave
our plant. However, human error can occur. The dealer is responsible for
checking these before the order leaves the dealership. We cannot be
responsible if problems occur without store verification. We must be
notified within 3 working days after receipt of order.
ADDITIONAL ENVELOPES:
If required, extra envelopes may be ordered.
EARLY ENVELOPES:
Blank or imprinted envelopes can be shipped in advance of full order.
INK COLORS:
No charge for one color ink. There is a charge for each additional color and
one production day must be added for each color. Select from colors shown on
the ink color list. You must
specify color desired. Be specific, state the color of ink, not generic
BLUE, etc. Certain ink colors and multiple inks require more time in
production.
ENVELOPE AND RESPONSE CARD
PAPER COLORS: Color may be varied
from sample at customer discretion. There is no additional
charge for color change. Select from envelope colors sampled in decks.
Please specify exact color for each item. Be specific, state the color of
the envelope, not “generic” WHITE, etc.
PROOFS - AVAILABLE ONLY ON
REQUEST: Proof charge is for all
parts of each order. There is a charge for copy or type change made from
proof. Proofs on guaranteed rush orders add one production day on One and
Two Day Guarantees, and may add an extra day to Three Day Guarantees. (Glad
Tidings cannot be responsible for any errors not corrected by you on
proofs.)
DISPLAY SAMPLES:
Available on request. Include invitation numbers if specific designs are
needed.
ORDERING:
Please use Glad Tidings order forms to expedite service. These order forms
are a part of a production system designed to give you fast response. If not
using Glad Tidings order forms, Dealer must be responsible for providing all
information asked for on the Glad Tidings form. When information is missing
or difficult to decipher, it slows down the production process.
TELEPHONE ORDERS NOT ACCEPTED:
Dictated copy by telephone is dangerous. It is recommended orders be faxed
to save time and insure accuracy. (See Fax instructions.)
CANCELLATIONS:
An order can be cancelled after receipt as long as that order has not been
printed. There are cancellation charges, please call customer service.
SHIPPING:
Unless otherwise specified, all orders shipped UPS Ground Service. We will ship
direct to your customer when advised to do so.
ERRORS:
If an error should occur, contact Glad Tidings immediately. We stand behind
our product and will correct errors. However, we can only be responsible for
the cost of those errors incurred in our plant by our employees. Orders must
be checked for text and quantity accuracy by Dealer upon receipt before
delivery to the customer. In case of discrepancy, Glad Tidings must be
notified immediately, not after customer has the order.
(Dealer is responsible for reprinting costs due to
ordering inaccuracies or incomplete information.)
FAX:
Faxed orders are expedient, however, there are some limitations. To avoid
errors, please follow these directions:
• Avoid writing in extreme left, right, top or bottom margins.
• Avoid writing or typing across rules (lines) on order forms. This distorts
characters -- sometimes makes a “c” look like an “e”, etc.
• Make large, clear letters -- small letters tend to close up and distort.
• If using typewriter, be sure the type is dark and clean. Small, light type
is very difficult to read and sometimes distorts.
• “Always use dark black ink”. . . no blue ink, no pencil.
• Glad Tidings cannot call to confirm receipt of faxed orders. If you are
concerned, you must call to verify receipt. Glad Tidings will call only if
there are questions or obvious problems about the order. |
